About us

The NFSCD is a small, friendly group which aims to encourage participation in Scottish country dancing at all levels. Our general class meets on Wednesdays during term time in Brockenhurst, Hampshire.

Beginners
Don't be shy! Our Wednesday classes cater for all standards of dancer and we are always pleased to welcome newcomers. If you've never tried Scottish country dancing before, why not come along and have a go? It's great fun and there's no need to bring a partner or to wear any special clothes (although soft, flat shoes are advisable). Come on your own or bring a friend.

Visitors
Visitors are warmly welcomed - we have 'regulars' who join us whenever they are on holiday in the area.

Experienced dancers We also have an advanced class for more experienced dancers. If you think this might be you, contact us for details.
